mario.download_settings(destination_path=None)

Return a copy of the current session settings, optionally exporting YAML.

Parameters:

destination_path (str or path-like or None, optional) – Existing directory in which to export settings.yaml. If None, only return a dictionary. Exporting does not enable automatic loading in future sessions; use upload_settings() with persist=True to save user defaults.

Returns:

config dict
