Calculate the Fc commodity-side total environmental flows matrix.

Final demand is summed across its columns before scaling the multiplier columns. The output columns represent production nodes, rather than final-demand categories.

Parameters:

• fc (pandas.DataFrame) – Total environmental coefficients: accounts by commodity nodes.

• Yc (pandas.DataFrame) – Commodity final demand: commodity nodes by final-demand categories and regions.

Returns:

Footprint flows with the same index and columns as fc.

Return type:

pandas.DataFrame
