mario.calc_gaa(bs, bu)

Calculate the SUT Ghosh block gaa.

\[g_{aa} = (I-b_s b_u)^{-1}\]

Parameters:

• bs (pandas.DataFrame) – Supply direct-output coefficients, with activity rows and commodity columns. Its rows and columns must match the columns and rows of bu, respectively, including order.

• bu (pandas.DataFrame) – Use direct-output coefficients, with commodity rows and activity columns.

Returns:

Ghosh block, with activity nodes on both axes.

Return type:

pandas.DataFrame

Notes

The inverse falls back to the Moore-Penrose pseudo-inverse if the system matrix is singular.
