Calculate SUT commodity production Xc from use flows and final demand.

\[X_c = U\mathbf{1} + Y_c\mathbf{1}\]

Parameters:

• U (pandas.DataFrame) – Use flows, with commodity rows and activity columns.

• Yc (pandas.DataFrame) – Commodity final demand, with the same row index as U.

Returns:

Commodity production, indexed like the rows of U, with one column named production.

Return type:

pandas.DataFrame
