mario.calc_f_dis(e, w)#

Calculate a diagonalized representation of f.

\[f_{\mathrm{dis}} = \operatorname{diag}(e_k)\,w\]
Parameters:
  • e (pandas.DataFrame or pandas.Series) – e environmental transaction coefficients to diagonalize.

  • w (pandas.DataFrame) – w Leontief inverse matrix.

Returns:

Diagonalized representation of the f total (direct+indirect) environmental transaction coefficients matrix, built as diag(e) @ w.

Return type:

pandas.DataFrame

Notes

e must contain one account with one coefficient per production node. Rows identify contributing nodes and columns identify the receiving nodes. Summing the rows recovers that account in calc_f. For multiple accounts, use db.f_ex(...).
