mario.calc_Xa(S, Ya)

Calculate SUT activity production Xa from supply flows and final demand.

\[X_a = S\mathbf{1} + Y_a\mathbf{1}\]

Parameters:

• S (pandas.DataFrame) – Supply flows, with activity rows and commodity columns.

• Ya (pandas.DataFrame) – Activity final demand, with the same row index as S. Pass an explicitly zero block when activity final demand is absent.

Returns:

Activity production, indexed like the rows of S, with one column named production.

Return type:

pandas.DataFrame
