mario.calc_wca(u, s)

Calculate the SUT commodity-to-activity Leontief block wca.

\[w_{ca} = (I-us)^{-1}u = w_{cc}u\]

Parameters:

• u (pandas.DataFrame) – Use coefficients, with commodity rows and activity columns.

• s (pandas.DataFrame) – Supply coefficients, with activity rows and commodity columns. Its row index must match the columns of u and its columns must match the row index of u, including order.

Returns:

Leontief block, with the commodity rows and activity columns of u.

Return type:

pandas.DataFrame

Notes

Rectangular use/supply tables are supported. The inverse falls back to the Moore-Penrose pseudo-inverse if the system matrix is singular.
