Calculate the Mc commodity-side total value added flows matrix.

Final demand is summed across its columns before scaling the multiplier columns. The output columns represent production nodes, rather than final-demand categories.

Parameters:

• mc (pandas.DataFrame) – Total value added coefficients: factors by commodity nodes.

• Yc (pandas.DataFrame) – Commodity final demand: commodity nodes by final-demand categories and regions.

Returns:

Footprint flows with the same index and columns as mc.

Return type:

pandas.DataFrame
